God’s Kingdom of Love

By Alan Griffin

KidsnChristGod's kingdom of love

There is a place where love abounds, where trust and faith go hand in hand. Where righteousness and justice are the foundations of a relationship that can last forever. It is not a fairy tale or dream. It is a place inside of us where only we can enter, but it is available for us to share with everyone we meet. A place where we are led by still waters and where we can rest on green pastures. A place where peace can be found in a busy world. A place where joy and harmony reside together. A place where the purest form of love can be found. A place where we are one together with our Creator. The kingdom of God is a place inside of our mind where the communion of love is at its greatest potential.  “But seek first the kingdom of God is righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.” Matthew 6:33 The world of Agape, or the world of God’s love. “No greater love is there than the love our Heavenly Father has for us. For the kingdom of God in word but in power.” 1 Corinthians 4:20

Obtaining this love is the number one priority of every human on earth. Without it, we are lost, miserable, and lonely.  This loneliness causes us to make bad decisions. To be able to develop a long-term relationship with our life partner we have to take the steps necessary to enter the kingdom. Far too many of us proceed with a partner before understanding the concept of love. Forget what you see in the media because their method will only lead to relationship failure. The technical term is controlled obsolescent, or a relationship with programmed flaws of defeat. Your success is a detriment to their lifestyle of no rule’s relationships. Today we are intermingled with those who use the word of love to their own selfish advantage. They lie and prey upon people’s feelings for their own gain. Through this 3-step process, you will learn how to develop lasting relationships and you will learn how to detect people who are befriending you for their own personal gain.

Step 1) Daily Bible study and prayer – First we seek the kingdom of God and His righteousness. We do this by surrendering our life to God so that the Holy Spirit may enter us and have a work inside of us. We spend time every day growing with God through daily Bible study and prayer. “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God at hand. Repent, and believe in the gospel.” Mark 1:15 NKJV To repent is to turn away from what you know in your heart is wrong and turn toward God. If you understand these things the right has been given to you to know the mystery of the kingdom of God. Most people enter adulthood by the way of the world. To these people, the Kingdom is a mystery they do not understand because they are blinded to spiritual matters. To others, they receive the Word and seemingly accepted Christ as their Savior, but there is no foundation of Bible study and prayer, so they soon wither away. The third hearer receives the Word, but the message is choked out by the cares, riches, and pleasures of this world. They believe but they never surrender their life to Christ. The fourth group hears the word of God, surrenders their will, and serves God in some manner to produce fruit. They have a ministry where they are sharing the Gospel with others.

Step 2) A pure mind and body – I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is good and acceptable and perfect will of God.” Romans 12 12:1-2 Do not be deceived. Wicked people will not inherit the kingdom of God. People who lie, cheat, and steal; those who have sex out of wedlock; people who worship money, fame, and materialism; people who have sex with others while married; and homosexuals will not enter the kingdom of God. We are to abstain from immoral behavior. We are to set ourselves apart from this wicked generation. We are to cleanse our thoughts from evil. It is our mind that is the temple of God. It is a place of purity and sanctity where God resides.

Step 3) Love – Love is the greatest gift mankind has ever been given. For God so loved the world.  Love one another as we love ourselves. Do unto others as we would have others do unto us. Love our enemies. We do this in a caring Godly manner. “Assuredly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God little child will by no means enter it.” Luke 18:17 The love of a child is trusting and faithful, and true.  We depend on our parents, the Heavenly Father, and we abide by His word. For the kingdom of God is righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit. We have comfort in knowing the Holy Spirit resides inside of our mind to counsel and guide us through this treacherous world.  We are never alone. God is always with us.

These three steps will embark you on a journey of lasting relationships. I have included below all scripture that refers to the kingdom of God. Please study it very carefully.
