I reflected back today on when Anne Ministries had its first annual March For Life in January of 2021. We were blessed with a good turnout despite the freezing cold weather. God has now led us to have our first annual fundraising banquet this fall. We are excited to see all that God has in store for this event.
Anne Ministries will be having its first annual fundraising Fall For Life Banquet on September 23, 2023. This event will begin with a Silent Auction at 5:30 pm. We have had a wonderful response with several different local businesses and individuals donating some great items. Dinner and program for the evening will begin at 6:30 pm. Our guest speaker will be Helen Rogers with Agape Pregnancy Support Services located in Fayetteville, NC. Ms. Rogers has been involved in Pregnancy Support Ministries for over 40 years. I first met Ms. Helen Rogers in 1997, when my pastor connected us. She loves babies, loves people, and wants them to know Jesus. It was 26 years ago that Ms. Helen helped me on my journey toward healing by helping me work through “Forgiven and Set Free” a post-abortive Bible study for those who have had a past abortion. I’m so thankful that God placed this dear lady in my life. Now, to look back and see how God has brought us back together and all that God has done has been amazing. God is so good! Ms. Helen has been a great help and support to Anne Ministries. She was there when we first opened the doors at Anne Ministries in 2021 and helped with leading our first training with volunteers.

You may also host a 6-person table for $180.00 or an 8-person table for $240.00. The Fall For Life Banquet will be held at the N.C. Cooperative Extension Avery County Center 661 Vale Road, Newland, NC 28657. This is a great opportunity to come out and learn about the services offered at Anne Ministries and meet some of its volunteers.
Anne Ministries is a non-profit pro-life ministry in Avery County. We offer pregnancy support services and recovery services to those who have had a past abortion, miscarriage, stillbirth, or infant loss. All of our services are free and confidential. Anne means “grace” and God has called us to extend His grace to those in need. The ministry mission statement is Isaiah 61:1-3.

In 2018, the Lord put on my heart the calling to reach out to those hurting from loss. Anne Ministries began in September of 2018. Anne means “grace” and that is what this ministry is about, extending God’s grace and allowing Him to heal your deepest hurt. This ministry reaches out to those hurting from abortion, miscarriage, stillbirth, and infant loss.
