God Help us

I know that I am not the only one around that gets totally fed up with the crap going on all around us! I was talking with a friend yesterday that came over to pick up a half of beef for his freezer and he made the comment that he and his wife were trying to prepare for what lies ahead. He commented that I love my country, but I hate what my government is doing! I not only feel that way about our government but also feel that way about many of our church leaders that are not willing to be truthful about God’s word and His teachings. When our preachers and teachers in the church bastardize the very word of God to appeal to those around them to make them feel okay with what God clearly says is wrong, we are going down the wrong path fast!
“That this is a rebellious people, lying children, children that will not hear the law of the LORD: Which say to the seers, See not; and to the prophets, Prophesy not unto us right things, speak unto us smooth things, prophesy deceits: get you out of the way, turn aside out of the path, cause the Holy One of Israel to cease from before us.” Isaiah 30:9-11 KJV
So many people are clamoring for the gay lifestyle to be accepted as normal, even praised. Transgender is accepted as a personal choice, abortion is totally okay, same-sex marriage is an honor! God help us and our country, God help our churches and those leaders in the supposed church and that preach such lies and abominations!
“Wherefore thus saith the Holy One of Israel, Because ye despise this word, and trust in oppression and perverseness, and stay thereon: Therefore this iniquity shall be to you as a breach ready to fall, swelling out in an high wall, whose breaking cometh suddenly at an instant. And he shall break it as the breaking of the potters’ vessel that is broken in pieces; he shall not spare: so that there shall not be found in the bursting of it a sherd to take fire from the hearth, or to take water withal out of the pit.”
Isaiah 30:12-14 KJV
God’s judgment will be upon us as a people and as a nation unless we, His people, are willing to stand up and say that these things around us are not right! Our preachers and teachers must have enough backbone to stand tall in the wind and storms around us. They must have the strength to call right, right and wrong, wrong without mincing words!
I know that I am on a rampage with this life lesson, but I literally get sick on my stomach when I look around, I see the praise of all the wicked things going on that are actually being praised, pushed as normal, and accepted and my blood boils! God help us. We need to be shouting from the rooftops, the pulpits, the church steps, the highways, and byways, telling people to repent and turn back to the ways of our founders and forefathers. Put the Ten Commandments back into a place of prominence, shout out the words “In God We Trust” and not be ashamed.
“If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” 2 Chronicles 7:14 KJV
I feel a little like Paul Revere must have felt when he rode through town waking the folks that were sleeping, crying the British are coming, only I cry out that the devil is coming! Please Christians, it is time that we get up off our behinds and stand strong for what our God tells us, for what our nation was formed on. Let us always be one nation under God with our motto being “In God We Trust”.
