I used to go to Taco Bell 3 times a week. Then an appointment with the bathroom stopped all of that. But for those still into it all…

Taco Bell is commemorating the 20th anniversary of its beloved Mountain Dew Baja Blast with a range of freebies and a new turquoise-hued treat to delight taste buds. The Baja Blast, known for its tropical lime flavor, has been a staple at Taco Bell since its exclusive launch in 2004, becoming a favorite among patrons.

Taylor Montgomery, Taco Bell’s Chief Marketing Officer, expressed pride in the iconic pairing of Taco Bell and Baja Blast. “We’re thrilled to celebrate this incredible milestone alongside our passionate Baja fans and are excited to unveil even more exciting experiences, innovations, and rewards,” Montgomery stated. The enduring affection for Baja Blast has inspired Mountain Dew to expand its offerings at Taco Bell throughout the year.

JP Bittencourt, Mountain Dew’s Vice President of Marketing, highlighted the inspiration drawn from their loyal fan base. “Our fans’ energy fuels our drive to innovate and provide exclusive offerings. We want to thank our supporters, from our long-time enthusiasts to new fans who join us daily,” Bittencourt remarked.

As part of the celebration, Taco Bell and Mountain Dew are launching several Baja Blast deals:

  1. Free Baja Blast Drink: Fans can enjoy a complimentary Baja Blast, available in frozen, iced, or regular versions, on July 29. This offer includes a medium-sized Baja Blast fountain drink or a regular-sized Baja Blast Freeze, redeemable at Taco Bell locations or through the Taco Bell app.
  2. Stanley X Bajaversary Tumbler: On August 13, at 2 p.m. PST, Taco Bell app rewards members can enter to win a limited-edition Stanley X Bajaversary tumbler. The first 20 customers to claim a tumbler will receive free Baja Blast for a year.
