Gather Together
Hebrews 10:25 Let us not give up the habit of meeting together, as some are doing. Instead, let us encourage one another all the more since you see that the Day of the Lord is coming nearer.
Holidays and special dates give a reason for sentimental hearts, reminiscent thoughts, and awakened senses. Precious moments of life shift our thinking from a routine daily cycle to thoughts of what and who really matter. Who do you purposefully hang out with, make time for, remember to follow up with, who do you love on well?
When I think of the word together, thoughts of where I belong and where I am welcome come to mind. WE, is a together word that goes beyond the definition of groups of people (family, friends, co-workers, classmates, etc.). WE the people of America are a united group only after WE the people of our community consider ourselves as one, together, we choose to take care of each other.
In this holiday season take time for yourself to consider:
How are you feeling?
What are you hoping the season will bring?
What do you or your family need?
Who are your support people – who encourage you?
Who are you most thankful for and how can you encourage them?
How can you be a light to someone in darkness?
BE the best you and then you will be able to offer the BEST of yourself.
