100% Prayer Success

“For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you,” Col 1:9.
Throughout the world, the true child of God, Christian brothers and sisters are united in the body of Christ Jesus. We have the wonderful authority of prayer support for each other. What’s my proof of prayer support for each other? Give us this day our daily bread; forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors; lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amazing! We pray for each other every time we say The Lord’s Prayer. For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever, Amen.
As we consider Mathew 6:9; “Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name;” Job 33:4 should also come into our minds – “the spirit of God hath made me, and the breath of the Almighty has given me life.” Our life’s guarantee of 100% Prayer Success requires three specific things, the gift of genuine salvation (see BRCN False Doctrines of Salvation), wisdom and knowledge. All three must be given to us. Ephesians 1:17, “the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, that He may give unto you [us] the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him.” The wisdom we need is not the wisdom of the world, “for the wisdom of the world is foolishness with God,” 1 Corinthians 3:19.
Our Lord is not concerned for things we want; His concern is for the things we need. All the things we need are found in The Lord’s Prayer. Repentance, forgiveness to others, spiritual food the scriptures, physical hunger relief, and the ability to fight the evil temptations to commit sin. Mark 14:38, “Watch ye and pray, least ye enter into temptation. The [Holy] spirit truly is ready [to defend us], but the flesh is weak.”
The Lord’s wisdom and knowledge guarantee prayer success. Ask the Lord for wisdom and knowledge! We must apply that understanding to our prayer issues. James 1:5, “If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not [no criticism]; and it shall be given.” We must learn to apply God’s wisdom and knowledge given to us about the subject matter of our prayers.
The wisdom and knowledge of the scripture will always address the problem for us. Job 33:3 has the answer; “my words shall be of the rightness of my heart: and my lips shall utter knowledge clearly.” Remember those troubling besetting sins and failed excuses? Job 21:14 gives us the reason; “therefore they say unto God, Depart from us; for we desire not the knowledge of thy ways.”
Helen Griggs, wrote the hymn; “Gone, gone, gone, yes my sins are gone. Buried in the sea, yes that’s good enough for me”. We cannot bury our sins and “Just forget about it”. Isiah 59:12, “for our transgressions are multiplied before thee, and our sins testify against us: for our transgressions are with us; and as for our iniquities, we know them.” Sins can separate us from God Almighty, and our prayer requests. Suggestion, read all of Isiah 59:1-21. Pray to the Lord. Seek me with all your heart and you will find me, Jer. 29:12-13.
We should pray in the morning, noon and evening. Pray without ceasing, incessantly.
Cry aloud to God almighty, pray in secret in your closet and your father will reward you. Psa. 55:17, 1 Th. 5:17, Mathew 6:6. “In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you [and I],” 1Th 5:18.
Did you notice that I missed the most important detail of The Lord’s Prayer at the beginning of this Bible Brief? The request for God’s will upon our life, “Thy Will Be Done”, as in heaven, so in the earth. Perhaps at prayer times, we all desire that our will be done, which may not be the will of God for our prayer issue. Trust the following verse with all your heart and soul; be not ye, therefore, like unto them: “for your father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask Him,” Mathew 6:8.
Perhaps you’ve heard about the Christian convention with hundreds of attendants who all prayed for the healing of a sick member associate? The member died the following week. If physical healing of the human flesh was possible, why does everybody eventually die? “What man is he that liveth, and shall not see death? Shall he deliver his soul from the hand of the grave?” Psalm 89:48.
When our loved one faces death, disease, or accident and succumbs to it, is God not listening to us? Has God failed in His ability to heal our loved ones? No! The word “sick” in the following verse is (Kamno – Strong’s G2577) meaning to “grow weary”. James 5:15 has to do with Spiritual healing, a prayer to forgive the sick from their sins and raise him to salvation. James 5:15, “and the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.”
Never think of a loved one as deceased. See your loved one alive in heaven living forever in the glorious presence of the Lord Jesus. “We know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him as true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ, This is the true God, and eternal life,” 1 John 5:20.
Thy Kingdom come, Thy Will be done!
