American Press/Woke Narrative Dehumanizes Christians and Conservatives

By DeAnna Rudisill

For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.” – I Corinthians 13:12

USA: Politically correct does not apply to Christians and conservatives. Derogatory terms and the dehumanization of the foresaid are encouraged and widespread within the press, public schools, and universities. But the media touches everyone, speaking with absolute authority and “guiding public opinion” with their false narratives and praise of the absurd and debaucherous.

In a recent article on the three-day Satan Con conference in Boston, USA Today praised the event, stating, “Satanism provides a ‘safe’ place for those who feel marginalized,” while mentioning the oppressive nature of the opposition. The opposition was Christians protesting, praying, and witnessing outside. 100 people were saved in the streets of Boston that weekend.

NBC referred to the event as a, “lighthearted convention.”

In a separate article USA Today’s headline read, “Satan Con: World’s ‘largest gathering of Satanists’ hails diversity, fellowship.” Catholics and protestants outside were described as swarming [as in insects] the event.

As the satanist were described in benevolent terms, the Christians were called “Angry Christians” or a “furious religious group” and were actually described as “ambushing” the satanic event.

The Daily Mail [UK] and Fox News did however describe the Bible and flag ripping and unbaptisms inside the conference as the Christians outside combated, “The hellish three-day event with intense prayer.”

So,  how does this one-sided false reporting affect the faithful?

To start, we have dehumanization. Straight mothers are breeders, straight people are cises, soldiers are baby killers, Christians are moralists, people that support Israel are Zionist, people that want to raise the bar are elitist, Pro-lifers are women-haters, Capitalists are evil, patriotic Americans are nationalists, the founding fathers are evil, the American flag is a disgrace, people who use terms like father, mother, son or daughter are binaries, individuals who question transgender medical procedures on minors are transphobic, people who question being the only open bordered nation in the world are racist, Christians that believe in God and the words in the Bible are hate-mongers, and anyone who disagrees with any of the above is a fascist, white supremacist and/or terrorist. The list goes on, in fact, it is expanding exponentially.

The solution to such people has also been discussed openly in the American media. It was concise, deliberate, and open on live television. Deprogramming and deprogramming camps for Trump supporters, republicans, and even Christians. That is how the media and the left wanted to handle everyone who voted for the other party.

After all, Trump supporters with their MAGA hats are called “maggots.” Maggots, rats, cock-a-roaches, or two-thirds human… dehumanization of a group of people based on race, religion or creed is implemented with malintent.

How and when the American news affiliates fell is an Orwellian question indeed. When did freedom of the press die in the United States of America and why does it all now sound like propaganda? These questions will die if they remain in our own echo chambers. They must be asked in the public forum.

Harvard has a compelling answer.

On June 18, 2018, a telling piece was published by the university. It explains why commercial breaks on the news have zero commercials, instead just playing music and showing random clips of the surrounding city and logos of their company.

Harvard Kennedy School’s Shorenstein Center on Media, Politics, and Public Policy published the article entitled, “Funding the News: Foundations and Non-profit Media.”

It stated, The 2016 U.S. elections triggered a flurry of activity and debate across the philanthropic world, and few domains sustained more attention than the news media. Talk of increased funding for nonprofit journalism initiatives began almost immediately after Election Day. The attacks on the press by newly elected President Donald J. Trump stimulated what has been called a “Trump bump,” as foundations and wealthy donors aimed to reinvigorate a deeply struggling news media system and to counter a wave of extreme populism and intolerance fueled by fake news.”

In other words, the wrong candidate won and he keeps tweeting.

The authors went on to discuss $1.8 billion injected into the media and university schools of journalism in the form of grant monies from different foundations. The article names the foundations.  The grantees included print, television, radio news, and public broadcasting.

It clearly stated that “Far from being passive supporters of nonprofit media, foundations have played an active role in framing the challenges, defining the priorities, and promoting specific strategies for responding to the collapse of the newspaper industry.”

“By way of their grant-making and convening power, foundations actively shape common ways of thinking about social challenges that bind together otherwise disconnected organizational leaders, experts, and donors into shared approaches and strategies. In doing so, foundations have played a behind-the-scenes role in guiding the direction of the nonprofit news sector, including the types of subjects covered, organizations supported and regions prioritized.

The in-depth coverage said that policy building was a major incentive in nearly half of the foundations’ contributions. The foundations consisted of individuals, families, companies, and major corporations.

The politically correct and Woke agenda has swept across our nation and the rest of the free world with alarming speed. Journalism was considered the fourth branch of our nation’s Checks and Balances system. Back to civics, we have the Executive, Judicial, and Legislative branches of the government. Journalism was called the fourth.

The problem is that it is not just the media. The state actions are giving the press a plethora of subject matter and attacks against the right. A judge in Pennsylvania recently denied a public school the right to bar its’ doors to the Satanic After School Club access to the school grounds, despite the school board and parents’ wishes. The satanic group held its first meeting on the school grounds recently.

In other news, the state tried to force a Catholic organization to pay for abortion procedures. A Christian member of Parliament in Finland is charged with three counts of hate speech for posting a scripture on social media about homosexuality and in the US a father had to fight in court to keep custody of his preschool son when he did not approve of the young child transitioning to a little girl. He lost in court but won on the appeal.

Leftist policy in conjunction with leftist media domination, a silencing of conservative and Christian speech on social media, and control of information on our nation’s search engines further silence Christian and conservative voices.

In our now post Christian Era in the United States, the cises, breeders, constitutionalists, moralists, and maggots of this great nation must keep each other informed, stay in touch with our representatives, register voters, hold prayer meetings, and put on the full armor of God. The atmosphere is hostile. Individuals must follow the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

The newly marginalized can still find their voice, by dropping the fallen press and picking up alternatives. There are Christian/conservative news outlets, social media, and search engines. If half the nation puts its membership, ratings, and monies into its own outlets, it extracts the same from the other side. What company can afford a 40 – 50% loss in revenue?  It can translate into billions of dollars.

The silent majority must be silent no more.

The Bible says, “Be wise as serpents and harmless as doves.” Pray for our leaders and adversaries while also remaining vigilant. One must be aware of wolves in sheep’s clothing.

For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world,  against spiritual wickedness in high places.” – Ephesians 6:12
