Difficult Situations
By Joe Sturz

Dear Friend,
Christians are often faced with difficult situations. It is important to take time to ask and seek (Luke 11:9-10) wisdom about how to deal with the situation (James 1:5). This can be done by talking to God and asking in the name of His son Jesus Christ (John 16:23-24). In this way the Holy Spirit may quicken to us:
–Bible verses that apply showing God’s will that He wants to be done (John 14:26),
–examples of Bible characters faced with similar situations and how God led them to deal with such a situation (Judges 6:36-40; I Kings 3:5-14; I Kings 18:36-39; Acts 4:31),
–boldness and faith in the power of the blood of Christ shed on the cross to put over the situation (Revelation 12:11) and Satan’s interference resisted until he flees (James 4:7).
So let us pray through to victory and peace in these difficult situations knowing God desires us to pray at all times (Ephesians 6:18) Let us pray often and fervently with the confidence that the Lord hears and will answer our prayers as He has promised when you ask in faith in and through Jesus Christ’s name (John 14:12-14).
Brother Joe “taking time to pray” Sturz Tuesday, March 9, 2021, www.sturzchristiancounseling.com on my website look through my “Workbook for Couples” that prepares singles for marriage as well. Please feel free to use them in sharing with others.
My prayer for those that read this message: “Father God, please make all who are Your own who read this to be able and willing to know, obey and submit to Your will and call on their life (Luke 11:2). Let them receive the Holy Spirit’s drawing power (John 3:6-8) to find freedom from their bondage to sin (Ephesians 2:1-6) through Your crucified and risen Son Jesus Christ (I Cor. 15:3-4; Titus 3:5-7). Enable them to repent and confess their sin and receive Your forgiveness (I John 1:9) as they trust in Christ alone for salvation (Romans 10:9-10). Empower them to glorify You and be faithful to Your calling from now on.” “In Jesus Name” (John 16:23-24) “Amen.”
If you have prayed to receive Jesus Christ as your Savior then follow Him in daily prayer and reading the Bible and obeying His direction. Confess Christ (Matthew 10:32; Romans 10:9-10) by getting baptized (Acts 2:38; Matthew 28:19) and join a Bible-believing church (Hebrews 10:25; Matthew 18:20) and sharing your faith with others (Mark 16:15-16; Acts 1:8).
